Any USB device that does not require a plug, drains its power from the computer. A single USB port can only supply so much power before the connected devices become unstable, and possible damage your computer. The Fusion Brain draws absolutely no power from the USB line, leaving that valueable resource open for those devices not courtious enough to leave it alone themselves. |

Accepts Wide Unregulated Voltage Ranges:
The Fusion Brain can accept any power source between 7v and 16v and automatically regulate it to the required voltage. This enables the Fusion Brain to be connected directly to battery sources in the car or home, as well as a wide variety of AC/DC wall adapters making it easy to power. |
