We charge actual shipping costs plus $1.50USD. That extra dollar and a half helps pay for boxes, packing peanuts, ink, and even gas to the post office. We dont charge a lot compared to other companies. The flat rate box of doom is a large flat-rate box via USPS Priority. It is useful if ordering lots of stuff, or lots of relays. We pay by the ounce, and relays are heavy, so if you have lots of relays the regular shipping will probably be expensive.
For international orders we offer lots of options. The most common of which is USPS Priority. This takes between 6 and 10 days, with tracking (more like a confirmation number rather than tracking such as FedEx/UPS) within the United States. It is then handed off to your local government's mail system and delivered to your normal mail box. It may seem expensive, but we dont get discounts on international (non-US) shipments as we do with domestic US orders.
We also offer FedEx and UPS, for all orders. These choices are definately more expensive but are much more reliable. BEWARE for non-US addresses, both FedEx and UPS charge a brokerage fee. This is not our fault, and we cannot stop it. It is usually between $40USD and $60USD no matter what. Even if the shipment says $20 for FedEx to XYZ outside of the United States, it will be XYZ + $60 for you to pay when you get it. If you refuse this charge, UPS or FedEx will charge us and send back the shipment. We will not ship you another order for free. You will have to pay for re-shipment costs. |
