What is the maximum sample rate for the inputs?

The Fusion Brain can read input values at varying rates. With the Fusion Control Centre software, you can adjust the readings from 180hz to having days inbetween if necessary. The maximum rate the Fusion Brain has ever recorded is around 1khz. This however is not using the Fusion Control Centre software, but rather a console based polling program that did nothing but read data with no graphics or anything else.

The more samples per second you request from the Fusion Brain, the more demand is placed on your CPU and your USB bus. If there are other peripherals attached to your USB line, you may experience slower speeds, or when your sample rate is too high the other devices might get drowned out and become non-functional. To prevent this, we reccommend you stay around 33Hz for best performance system wide. In times where you would need copious amount of information all at once, you can increase the sample rate in real time with the Fusion Control Centre Uber MDX software and when your event is over, drop the rate back down.
