Will the Fusion Brain work without a PC?

The Fusion Brain is PC dependant. This means it will not function without being connected to a compatible computer. A compatible computer is any Intel® Pentium® based machine with at least 700Mhz of processing power running Microsoft® Windows® XP with Service Pack 2 or Windows® Vista and one free USB 2.0 port. The Fusion Brain may run on slower machines, but it has not been tested. Also the Fusion Control Centre software does not run on x64 machines, but the Fusion Brain will install drivers that work. Therefore we do not offer support for x64 based systems even though it is possible to create a program that will run with the Fusion Brain.

The Fusion Brain cannot be "programmed" by the software and then disconnected from the PC and still function. It relies on the computer to provide accurate readings and accurate output to the physical world.

We have plans for future support of PC independance, but currently this is not an option and a PC must be connected at all times for the hardware to function.
